Another thing I love about Molly is how she names some animal characters after her own real life furry companions. With this series, The Paranormal Temp Agency series, she brings in all the main character from her Pet Whisperer Series. One of Molly Fitz’s appeal as an author is how she brings the characters she created for a previous series into her new series, along with the new characters she has created for the series. Psychic For Hire, like all the books in all of Molly Fitz’s series, isn’t a “page turner,” it’s a “page burner.” It isn’t the story ideas that hook the reader and keep them turning the pages until they read the very last word on the very last page, so much as the characters that Molly populates her stories with. Psychic For Hire was a very entertaining read, but that will not surprise to anyone familiar with the Dame of the fuzzy mystery genre.
